Diagnostic Center by Images at Hospital Herrera Llerandi is
characterized by the continuous innovation on state of the art
diagnosis equipment. The Department’s futuristic vision is to
provide the highest quality images, with the highest safety
standards for patients, as well as to efficiently provide
diagnosis studies interpreted by Radiology specialists, many of
whom have had studies at prestigious USA universities and
hospitals. The Radiology Department provides service 24 hours a
day - 365 days.
Tomography Multidetector
 The
64 slices tomography multidetector is able to take hundreds of
images in only 350 milliseconds, which makes it more than
thousand times faster than the first generation tomography
detectors still working in many hospitals. Thanks to this, the
tomography multidetector represents today the diagnosis
alternative to choose to get high resolution studies which may
make it easier for doctors to make decisions faster in the best
interest of the patient’s well being. The 64 slices tomography
multidetector produces then these studies with minimal
radiation, which is particularly important to consider with
Pediatrics patients.
By using this tomography detector, we can perform very
specialized studies at very reasonable prices, such as:
- Brain Angiography with perfusion for early stroke diagnosis.
- Carotids Angiography to diagnose plaque obstructions.
- Angiography of any organ from the human body (with
tridimensional high definition images impossible to get from
traditional tomography detectors).
- Heart Tomography (coronaries study, in an non-invasive way, with
no sedation needed.
- Virtual Colonoscopy (it is performed non-invasively and without
sedation in the colon, for early diagnosis of cancer).

conventional fluoroscopy studies, as well as portable studies.
Portable X-Ray equipment with a C arm, is used in the operating
